In my younger years, I enjoyed special moments in kimono, often taking part in Maiko experiences and other occasions that allowed me to immerse myself in the elegance of traditional attire.
After getting married and having children, I wanted to be able to quickly dress myself in kimono for important ceremonies such as Shichi-Go-San and school entrance or graduation events. This led me to begin learning kimono dressing, where I met a teacher with a remarkable sense of style, whose guidance naturally drew me deeper into the beauty and sophistication of kimono.
Later, I worked at a kimono shop, further expanding my knowledge, and became involved in a wide range of kimono-related activities, including teaching furisode dressing and sharing tips on kimono styling.
Even now, I continue to cherish the joy of kimono in everyday life, going out with friends who share my love for kimono or enjoying outings to see Kabuki performances. I hope that through kimono, you too can experience moments of special delight.
若い頃は、舞妓体験などを通して、特別な着物で非日常のひとときを楽しむのが好きでした。
結婚して子どもが生まれたとき、七五三や入学・卒業式などの式典に、自分でさっと着物を着て出かけられるようになりたいと思い、着付けを学び始めました。そこで出会った先生はとてもセンスあふれる方で、着物の奥深さと魅力に自然と心惹かれるようになりました。
その後、呉服屋で働きながら知識を深め、振袖の着付けや着物の着こなしをお伝えするなど、幅広く着物に携わるようになりました。
今も、着物好きの友人とお出かけしたり歌舞伎を観に行ったりと、日常の中で着物の楽しみを大切にしています。
皆さまにも、着物を通して特別な時間を感じていただければ嬉しく思います。
