Hello and welcome.
Washinan is a small, hidden salon dedicated to sharing the “spirit of Japan.”
Located in Amagasaki, it is housed in the home of the salon’s owner, who runs a kimono shop. The space has been opened to guests as a private salon experience.
Here, you can discover carefully selected, high-quality furisode, everyday kimono, and yukata with a nostalgic charm—pieces that showcase the artistry of Japanese craftsmen. Experiencing these garments firsthand, and even trying them on, offers a unique moment that can be enjoyed only here.
For example, before exploring the authentic beauty of Kyoto or Nara, or before enjoying a meal at a traditional long-established ryotei, taking a little time to learn the elegance of Japanese manners will make your experience twice as rich. Washinan provides such a special “prelude” to your journey.
Our aim is to share Japanese culture in a way that resonates with contemporary life, allowing you to feel the essence of “Japan today” in an approachable, authentic way.

はじめまして、こんにちは。
和心庵（わしんあん）は、「日本の心」をお伝えする、小さな隠れ家サロンです。
場所は尼崎。呉服屋を営むオーナーの自宅を、サロンとして開放しております。
日本の職人技を愛して集めた、上質な振袖や普段着物、どこか懐かしい雰囲気のゆかたたち。
それらを実際にご覧いただき、身に纏っていただける特別な時間は、ここでしか味わえないものです。
たとえば、京都や奈良で本格的な和の美しさに触れる前に。
あるいは、老舗料亭で美味しい和食を楽しむ前に。
少しだけ、日本の美しい所作を知っておくことで、その時間がきっと2倍、豊かになる。
和心庵では、そんな“前のひととき”をご用意しております。

About the Host/ホストのご紹介
Madame Okagaki
From an early age, Madame Okagaki was raised in a life surrounded by kimono, cultivating a natural familiarity with this timeless tradition.
Nearly fifty years ago, she founded Okagaki Kikaku(now Fairy ad corporation Co., Ltd.), a company dedicated to nurturing kimono specialists, and has since built enduring relationships with Kyoto’s master weavers and esteemed textile merchants.
Beyond kimono retail, she has also led classes in Japanese etiquette and cultural refinement, earning the trust and admiration of a devoted community over many decades.
With her discerning eye and deep expertise, she has curated an exceptional collection of kimonos—treasures she now graciously shares with her guests.
As your host, Madame Okagaki offers not only her garments but also her lifelong dedication to the elegance of Japanese culture.

幼少期より着物に親しむ暮らしの中で育ち、着物文化を自然に身につけてまいりました。
今から約50年前、着物専門家を輩出する「岡垣企画」（現、株式会社フェアリー・アド・コーポレーション）を創業し、以来、京都の織元や老舗呉服商とともに歩みを続けています。
着物の小売業や和の作法教室も手掛け、長年にわたり多くの方に支持されてきました。
その豊富な経験と審美眼で蒐集した着物コレクションを、特別に公開し、参加者の皆さまにご体験いただきます。
日本文化の奥深さを語り継ぐホストとして、皆さまを温かくお迎えいたします。
